FAULHABER BXI drives robotics forward
The FAULHABER BXI integrated drive system represents the next step in compact, high-performance motion solutions for advanced robotics and precision automation.
Designed to meet the growing demand for human-like movement in robotic systems, the BXI combines high torque, dynamic response, and precise positioning in a single, integrated unit. From delicate gripping applications to coordinated joint motion, the system is engineered to deliver controlled, repeatable performance across a wide operating range.
At its core, the BXI integrates a brushless motor, planetary gearhead, and high-resolution encoder into a compact housing. This architecture simplifies mechanical design, reduces footprint, and improves overall system reliability by eliminating the need for multiple discrete components.
With torque capabilities of up to 20 Nm and an installation length of approximately 34 mm, the BXI provides exceptional power density in space-constrained applications. Its design also supports efficient thermal management and smooth motion through low cogging torque, enabling fast response times and high positioning accuracy.
The integrated encoder ensures precise feedback and stable control, while compatibility with FAULHABER motion controllers enables a complete, optimised drive solution for complex motion systems.
